Asking Too Many Questions & Stupid Thieves Quests - Assassin's Creed Odyssey

Stupid Thieves and Asking Too Many Questions in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey are two side quests you can take. Both of the quests require you to defend the quest giver NPCs from waves of bandits. The problem is that both NPCs are as strangely aggressive as they are weak, dive headlong into combat, and die in an instant. Since these quests have been causing trouble for many people, here’s our AC Odyssey Asking Too Many Questions & Stupid Thieves Quests guide.

How to Beat AC Odyssey Stupid Thieves & Asking Too Many Questions Quests?

To beat the Asking Too Many Questions and Stupid Thieves quests in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, you’ll have to keep the NPCs that give you the quests in the first place. This, unfortunately, is way more difficult than it sounds. For some reason, the developers have made the weak NPCs extremely aggressive. The problem is that they absolutely can’t put up a fight. In both quests, bandits appear as soon as you accept the quest, and the NPCs, the philosopher or the blacksmith, immediately engage them in combat. And promptly die after getting hit once.

There are several things you can try to beat these missions. One thing is to try to run away as soon as the bandits appear, and try to lure away the aggro onto yourself. It’s a risky move, to be sure, but it could pay off. Another option is to make good use of Poison. Make sure to unlock the Venomous Attacks and Poison Mastery skills, because they come in handy in general. Anyway, building up the Poison in your enemies makes them weaker. This serves two purposes: you’ll kill them more easily, and the NPCs will have more of a chance to survive. You’ll have to be very swift and precise though, with both waves of bandits. Yes, there will be two waves to fight off. This is your best bet overall, but it’s in no means a surefire win. You’ll probably have to retry several times to pull it off.

That’s basically all there is to it when it comes to the AC Odyssey quests called Stupid Thieves and Asking Too Many Questions. Both quests are a drag, and unreasonably difficult for how overall unimportant they are, but there you have it.
