Assassin's Creed Origins Curse of the Pharaohs Launch Trailer Revealed

The Curse of the Pharaohs DLC for Assassin’s Creed Origins is nearing its launch date, so Ubisoft released a launch trailer for it. The video shows of some of the pharaohs that we’ll be fighting (like Ramses and Nefertiti), as well as Anubis soldiers, giant scorpions, and much more. They all look like formidable foes, and the designs are pretty cool.

Assassin’s Creed Origins Curse of the Pharaohs Launch Trailer Revealed

The second paid DLC expansion for Assassin’s Creed Origins, the Curse of the Pharaohs, launches tomorrow. Like the previous DLC, it will open a whole new part of the map for you. You’ll be exploring Thebes and several other important landmark, including the Valley of the Kings, Luxor, and Karnak. As you’d expect from something called Curse of the Pharaohs, you’ll be facing off against the risen corpses of the greatest pharaohs from Ancient Egypt. On top of that, there’ll be soldiers of Anubis and enormous scorpions. The only thing that’s missing is Brendan Fraser.

To whet your appetite, Ubisoft has released a launch trailer for the Curse of the Pharaohs DLC. It does a pretty good job of selling it. In the video, we get to see two of the rulers that we’ll be battling in the DLC: Ramses and Nefertiti. Of course, they won’t be the only pharaohs that will cause headaches for the player. You can check out the trailer below. Just try to ignore the terribly-written narration in the video.

Of course, there’ll be a bunch more to do aside from bringing down undead pharaohs. There will be quests to complete and puzzles to solve. For example, there’s the Aten Rising Quest, whose existence reveals that Akhenaten will also be one of the boss pharaohs. Then, we have the puzzle in Tahemet’s House, which you have to solve, and a lot more.
