Assassin’s Creed Origins Getting New Game Plus Mode in the Future

As we’ve come to expect over the years, Ubisoft is banking heavily on the Assassin’s Creed franchise. It is their tent-pole franchise, after all. And, Assassin’s Creed Origins really is getting the royal treatment. They delayed the game to get it right this time around. There’s tons of extra content, both free and paid, coming down the pipeline. The Hidden Ones DLC, which came out not too long ago, has already delivered some decent additional stuff. However, one thing that has been suspiciously missing so far – a New Game + mode.

Well, thanks to Reddit and Community Manager Dominik Voigt (domvgt is his Reddit username), the New Game Plus mode is in the works. He said as much responding to a Reddit post asking about the New Game +. Unfortunately, at the time of writing this article, there’s no more information on the topic. Voigt does promise hat they’ll “have more information to share soon,” so hopefully, we’ll get to know more about New Game Plus in Assassin’s Creed Origins.

That being said, seeing how this is Ubisoft, I doubt that the New Game Plus mode is going to offer anything too interesting. We’re probably looking at playing the game over again with all of the stuff from your previous playthrough, and perhaps an increase in difficulty. Then again, I could be wrong. Maybe they have some other tricks up their sleeve, and they’ll completely catch us off guard. We’ll just have to wait and see.
