Cyberpunk 2077 could be out before 2077…erm, before 2020
CD Projekt Red is probably the most beloved developer in the world right now. The Witcher 3 was chock-full of awesomeness and their approach to gamers, with 16 free DLCs and two humongous expansions has proven unmatched. It is no wonder that people cannot wait to play their next game. Unfortunately, the wait will be a little longer than you might like, since the initial information was very unclear on any release dates. It is to be understood that CD Projekt Red wanted to take their time and create another engrossing world. Still, some new information has come to light, and we might see the game before June 2019.
How did this date surface? Well, it’s a tricky one. CD Projekt Red has been looking into some government funds that could be related to the game’s production. Why is this important? Because the date of delivery for those grants is exactly June 29, 2019. And who needs more than that to speculate and be happy! Two years from now, you might be frolicking in the neon-lit, artificially clean world of Cyberpunk.
What do we know about the futuristic RPG? It should be even bigger than Witcher 3. That is pretty big that is! Hopefully they will take note that open world games can get tiresome if the world is made huge just for the sake of it. Still, judging by the sidequests of Witcher 3, CD Projekt Red has nothing to fear when it comes to filling their world with interesting stories.
Still, 2019 feels like an awfully long time away. What can you do to make it shorter? Well, play The Witcher 3 and use our guides to find literally everything about the game.
