Dark Souls 3 Ringed City Angels - Where to find summoners

Angels are a type of enemy in Dark Souls 3: Ringed City. They’re large winged creatures that rain magic arrows upon players, making them run from one piece of cover to another. They do a lot of damage, and their rate of fire makes it impossible to take them down using arrows. Luckily, there is a way. In this guide, we’re going to show you how to kill angels in Dark Souls 3 Ringed City DLC, where to find angel summoners.

How to kill Ringed City Angels

In order to defeat an angel, you’ll need to find the summoner. Summoners are docile, fragile creatures – they won’t attack, and they’ll go down in two hits. When you kill a summoner, their angel will simply vanish, and it won’t respawn when you die. Hunting down the summoners will make the whole DLC area easier to handle.

Dark Souls 3 Angel Locations

The first angel is near the first bonfire in Dreg Heap – you’ll encounter it after you fall off the cliff, through the window and into the library. The summoner is nearby. Simply hug the wall on the right once you spot the angel and go into the building. Use the door on the other side to exit, and turn left. You’ll soon find yourself in a clearing, the summoner within reach.

The second angel hovers above the swamp below the Earthen Peak Ruins bonfire. Go to the left side of the swamp, and climb the giant roots near the mushroom circle. Follow the first root up, then jump onto the second one, to the right. Turn right near the end and climb the roof. Use another root to get across to the other roof, which is where you’ll find the summoner.

The final summoner is under the Within the Earthen Peak Ruins bonfire, right before the Demon in Pain & Demon from Below boss fight. Spawn at the bonfire and fall through the hole on the right. Turn around, and you’ll see the summoner near the edge of the platform.
