Destiny 2 Marionberry Error Code – How to Fix Networking Issue

Marionberry Destiny 2

According to a post on Bungie’s support site, Marionberry error code indicated a problem with your networking setup. The most common reason for it to occur is a simple hiccup with the WiFi, or a change in the network’s settings (especially parental controls). Sadly, it can also mean something is wrong with your router, whether it’s a hardware issue or a problem with the firmware.

Thankfully, if it’s the former, the solution is quite simple. All you need to do is log out of the game and turn off your PC, Playstaion 4 or Xbox One. Afterwards, turn off your entire network setup (modems, routers, switches – whatever you’re using), then turn them on again after 30 seconds. Once you’ve powered up your console or PC again, the game should work.

If none of this helps, you might want to forward some ports and check your firewall settings. Installing new firmware for the networking equipment could also solve your problems. If all else fails, you’ll probably need a new router/modem. If it was provided by your ISP, call them and they’ll replace the faulty one. If not, you’ll either need to buy a new one or get someone to try and fix the hardware.

That rarely happens, though, and simply turning everything off for half a minute should make the Marrionberry issue go away, letting you get back to Destiny 2.
