Third Seed of Light - Destiny 2 Forsaken Final Subclass

Third Seed of Light is the final item you need in order to unlock the last subclass upgrade in Destiny 2 Forsaken. Nobody has obtained one and provided proof at this point, so it’s safe to assume you cannot get it yet. However, people are starting to get twitchy. After unlocking the first two using the seeds from Blind Well, everyone is anxious to see whether their least favorite subclass got the same amount of love as the other two. In this guide, we’re going to go over some of the possible ways to get Destiny 2 third Seed of Light.

How to get third Seed of Light?

Update: September 14th
Just confirmed you’ll get the third seed of light from finishing the first encounter in the raid.

Again, there is no way to get it yet. We’ve played through all of the tiers of the Blind Wall several times, and haven’t had any success. We’ve tried again after the weekly reset, with no luck. There were a couple of people claiming they did obtain it on Reddit, but they failed to show proof when asked for it.

Some think it’s going to be obtainable through the Blind Well, only at a later date. This does sound lazy enough to fit Bungie’s way of doing things, as it would be severely underwhelming. There’s also the possiblity of it being tied to the Dreaming City raid, which is going to go live tomorrow. It might appear as a raid drop, or a purchasable item from the raid vendor.

There’s also the chance that it’s going to be a part of one of the upcoming updates – Bungie has quite a few planned for the rest of the year (two more in September, one in October). We don’t expect this one to be it, though. It would mean we’d have to wait months from release to unlock something as basic as a subclass upgrade, which used to be a main story thing. Either way, we’ll have to wait. We’ll update this page with precise instructions once we know how to get the final Seed of Light.
