Destiny 2 Warmind Livestream Will Show Off The Expansion

Warmind is the second expansion for Destiny 2, and it’s going to be released in two weeks. Since it’s so close to launch, it’s high time we got to know more about it. Obviously, the developers at Bungie this so as well, as they’ve scheduled a livestream reveal for April 24th. In it, they’re going to show glimpses of the new content, locations, weapons and missions. They’ve published a teaser trailer, too. For the livestream, not the game. Yeah.

Destiny 2 Warmind Livestream Will Show Off The Expansion

The most important thing about Warmind is that it’s going to be free for all who bought the deluxe edition of the game, or the season pass. It’s the fabled second expansion they’ve been waiting for for a long time. Hopefully it’s a bit better than the first one, eh?

The trailer (for the livestream) lists all the things you’ll be able to see during the tour. It starts off with exploring Hellas Basin with Evan Nikolich and Brent Gibson. The names may mean something to you, but I have no idea who these people are. They might be from the development team. They might also be concerned citizens polled randomly. Whoever produced the video forgot to put their titles in, so we’ll never know.

Then there’s a showcase of the Hive Escalation Protocol, which might or might not be a mission of some kind. It’s going to be hosted by Benjamin Wommack and Jacob Benton. The final bullet point on the rather short list simply says “Upgraded exotics & crucible updates”. That’s the only one that’s actually clear enough by itself. Expect wise words from Josh Hamrick, Joe Weisnewski and Kevin Yanes.

The stream is scheduled to start at 10 AM Pacific Time, which means 1 PM Eastern Time, which means 7 PM Central European. If you’re not into that whole Twitch thing, just wait until tomorrow, when detailed breakdowns of the thing will start appearing all over the internet.
