How to use Skyburners Command Beacon | Destiny Taken King
The Skyburners Command Beacon is an item Cabal warriors drop on the Dreadnaught in Destiny: The Taken King. If you use it in the right place, it will lead you on a quest that ends with the Skyburners Chest, and Calcified Fragment XXXVII inside it.
In this guide, we’re going to show you how to use Skyburners Command Beacon to find the Skyburners Chest.
Go to the Mausoleum. Turn left, then go right and up the hull, into the ship. On the wall opposite your entry point, you’ll see a console. Use it to activate Skyburners Deployment Codes and you’ll get a quest to follow. It consists of three steps, which end with a boss fight against a Cabal leader, in a random location. The second phase (Signal Jammed) has a time limit of 1:20, while the third (Leader Intercepted) has to be finished under 2:40. After you’ve won, the boss will give you the Skyburners Security Pass.

Where to find Skyburners Command Beacon
If you don’t already have it, you should go on Patrol or Strike in Hull Breach and kill Cabal soldiers. They will randomly drop the beacon, which looks like a shiny trinket. Pick all the drops up, and soon enough, you’ll have one.How to use Skyburners Command Beacon
Enter the cargo bay of the crashed Cabal ship at Hull Breach (under the middle thruster). Turn left and look for a terminal in the corner. When you approach it, you’ll get the option to activate Skyburners Command Beacon. The door leading into the ship will open after a while, and you’ll be attacked by a bunch of Cabal and a boss with a minigun. When you kill the boss, he’ll drop the Skyburners Deployment Codes (another shining trinket on the ground).How to use Skyburners Deployment Codes

Go back to the Mausoleum, to the room where you used the Skyburners Deployment Codes. Use the Skyburners security pass to open the door to your right. Behind it, you’ll find the Skyburners Chest.
