Dishonored 2 New Game Plus allows you to carry over all of your runes, learned bonecharm feats, and blueprints. On top of that, you get access to all character-specific powers. In other words, you can give Emily Corvo’s powers, and vice versa. Of course, you can start NG + with either character and on any difficulty setting.

There are some particularities, though. Inventory items, upgrades, coins, whale bones and held bone charms won’t carry over. Additionally, only learned bonecharm traits, assigned runes and available blueprints will carry over.

Dishonored 2 New Game Plus Tips & Tricks

Here’s some steps you should take to get the most out of your NG + experience.

  • Break down all of the bonecharms. You have to do this before ending the game for them to carry over to NG +. Held bonecharms and raw whale bones won’t carry over, only learned traits will.
  • Assign all of your runes. You need to do this before ending the game, as well. No unassigned runes will carry over, so make sure you use all of them.
  • Craft runes out of extra whale bones. If you have the runecrafting abilities (and you should), craft runes and buy all the powers you can. You’ll truly be able to build a true powerhouse this way.
  • Dishonored 2 NG + playthroughs stack. Oh, yes. The more times you play through, the more stupidly powerful you’ll get. Eventually, you’ll be able to build a character with all of the powers you want, and become god.

On top of everything, starting New Game Plus will unlock a myriad of new options to explore. You can revisit previous locations and play through them with different power combinations. In short, Dishonored 2 NG + adds a ton of replayability to the game. You should all give it a spin.
