Fallout 76 How to Cure Addictions - Addictol Locations

Addiction is one of the issues you’ll probably struggle with in Fallout 76. It comes when you abuse a substance like alcohol or one of the many drugs you’ll find in the game. It’s a bit of a pickle, since most of those drugs have useful effects, like healing radiation sickness or temporarily increasing your stats. If you get addicted, your character will suffer debuffs, so it’s safe to assume you’ll want to treat them right away. This guide will show you how to cure addictions in Fallout 76.

How to treat alcohol & drug addictions in FO76?

Thankfully, there’s a magic pill that makes addictions go away, called Addictol. Just pop one and all your current alcohol or drug addictions will be cured. There’s even an alternative, if you don’t want to treat pill addiction with more pills. It involves a hearty meal, and a specific one at that. It’s called radscoprion egg omelette, and – you guessed it – it’s made from radscorpion eggs.

Where to find Addictol in FO76?

You can find Addictol lying around in a bunch of places around the map, but that’s far from a reliable source, thanks to other players and the one hour item respawn timers. If you still want to try, you could go to the Eastern Regional Penitentiary in Toxic Valley. Or take a look at Camp McClintock – you can find a bottle in one of the rooms where the Patriotism test takes place, in a drawer by the bed.

Thankfully, there’s an event that rewards you with Addictol when you finish it. It’s called Guided Meditation, and you can start it at the Palace of The Winding Path, the fancy building in the far north of the Savage Divide. Once you light the brazier in front of the palace, you’ll have to defend four NPCs from enemy attacks until the ritual is complete, which is when you’ll get your pills.

We’ve heard there’s a crafting recipe that allows you to make your own Addictol, but we haven’t been able to find it yet.
