Final Fantasy XV will feature heavily in Mobius Final Fantasy in the next two weeks

For those among you who are not into mobile gaming, a little bit of information. Mobius Final Fantasy is an episodic RPG published by Square Enix for iOS, Android and Windows. The game has some Final Fantasy elements, such as leveling, exploration, fast travel, and turn based combat, and you play as a “warrior of light”, fighting against darkness and chaos. The game reached 10 million downloads in January 2017.

The Beautiful Boys will become a part of the mobile title.

While Final Fantasy XV players can expect to see new DLC content soon, Square Enix used the opportunity to connect the mobile title with their behemoth RPG in a two-week event. Here are some details:

For a limited time, Noctis, Lady Lunafreya, Prompto, and others from Final Fantasy XV will lend their special powers to the Warrior of Light as new ability cards. Additionally, the rare and powerful “Unbreakable Bonds: Final Fantasy XV” Supreme card also joins the line-up of special event cards. It grants players the powerful “Royal Arms” ability to take down even the strongest of foes.

For the duration of this collaboration, players will also be able to perform one ability card summon per day at no cost. Furthermore, up to six different Final Fantasy XV stamps and two exclusive ability cards, the Regalia and Cindy, are available as login bonuses.

Square Enix seems busy at work creating a whole ecosystem around its first “real” Final Fantasy title in years. Apart from Mobius there is the free 2D brawler, A King’s Tale, which is out on PSN and Xbox Live. The future of Final Fantasy XV seems set to bring even more story content through DLCs for every major character (and perhaps one lady). Hajime Tabate has all but confirmed that the PC version is in the works, while the VR is getting the overhaul which it sorely needed.

It is a good time to be a Final Fantasy fan.
