Ghost Recon Wildlands errors & problems

Error Ribera 1000-b / Oruro-00107

This error pops up when servers are down (mostly for maintenance). You can’t go around it, so the only thing to do is try again later. Check the official forum for the maintenance schedule – it will let you know when they expect the servers to go back up.

Ghost Recon Wildlands PS4 input lag

Some users are reporting input lag on the Playstation version of the game, both on the regular console and the Pro. This means they’re experiencing a significant delay between pressing a button and the action being performed in the game. As far as we know, there’s no way to fix it – you’ll have to rely on the developers to take care of it.

Mouse delay in Ghost Recon Wildlands beta

PC players have reported issues with mouse controls being delayed and jittery, without a change in framerate. If you’re having this problem, you should go to the task manager, find the game’s process and set its priority to low. This usually solves it.

Microphone issues in GR Wildlands

There have been reports of the game hijacking microphone control from users. When you set your in-game mic levels, it will affect the general Windows setting as well. This includes muting as well. This makes it impossible to use with TeamSpeak or Discord – when you mute the in-game mic, it will also stop you from using voice chat in other applications. There’s no official dev response yet, and no way to go around the issue.

Nvidia Ansel black screen / camera stuck

If you want to use Ansel to capture screenshots of Ghost Recon Wildlands, you’re out of luck. The feature simply doesn’t work, either locking the camera in a weird place or eating up all your RAM. The devs are aware of the problem.

Ghost Recon Wildlands Beta PC DirectX 11 error

Several owners of high-end cards have repored not being able to run the game. They all received a message saying Your graphics card does not support DirectX 11 features, even though it does. Updating the drivers doesn’t help, and there doesn’t seem to be a way to force the game to use an older version of DX. If you’re on Windows 7, you could try installing DirectX 11.1 manually, along with the platform update (make sure you have SP1 installed). If you’re on Windows 10, try getting the Graphic Diagnostic Tools. There’s no confirmed solution for now, but the developers are investigating the problem.

Performance issues, low framerate in Ghost Recon Wildlands PC Beta

Many players with expensive rigs are complaining about the performance. The game often stays around 30 FPS, even on expensive hardware. From what we’ve seen, disabling V-Sync does wonders for the frame rate, almost doubling it in some cases. There are reports that activating the ingame framerate cap also helps. It doesn’t matter how high you put it, just that it’s there.

GR Wildlands Beta crashes

Some people are complaining about the game crashing right after the splash screen. They load it up, sometimes the music even starts playing, then it’s back to the desktop. If you’ve got the game installed on a secondary drive (one that doesn’t house the operating system), it could be the cause of the issue. Here are some possible solutions:

  • Install on the same drive your OS is on (if you have the space)
  • Disable background applications
  • Go to task manager and set the Ghost Recon process priority to normal
  • Disable SLI, if you’re using it.

Does Ghost Recon Wildlands closed beta progress transfer to open beta?

No. The servers have been wiped. Everything you’ve unlocked in the open beta is gone, and you’ll have to work for it again. The same will happen with the final release – don’t expect your open beta progress to transfer to the game proper. You can use this test to check out the game, see if you like it and whether it runs on your machine, but not to get a head start.

Ghost Recon Wildlands beta SLI support

If you have a SLI/Crossfire setup and you’re experiencing stuttering or other performance issues, there’s nothing you can do. The game still doesn’t have full multi GPU support, but the developers claim they’re working on it.

Ghost Recon Wildlands PC Open Beta won’t start

The main reason for not being able to run it is video memory. If your graphics card has less than the minimum (which is 2GB), you won’t be able to start it. There’s no way around it – you can either give up on the beta, or upgrade your hardware

Mouse/controller mix-up issues in Ghost Recon Wildlands Beta

Some people are reporting the game switching to gamepad prompts when they click a mouse button, like the gmae thinks the mouse is actually a controller. There’s no magic solution, but you could try unpluggin any peripherals you have apart from the keyboard and mouse (gamepad, joystick, dance pad, etc.).

Ghost Recon Wildlands launches on secondary screen

There have been reports of the game launching on the secondary screen in dual display setups. There’s an easy solution for this:

  1. Go to C:\Users\user-name\Documents\My Games\Ghost Recon Wildlands
  2. Make a backup copy of GRW.ini, then open the file in notepad
  3. Find a line that says Output Monitor and change its value (the options are 0, 1 and 2 – change them until you get the one you need)
  4. Save the file and run the game

PS4 beta key for Ghost Recon Wildlands not working

Some people are having trouble redeeming their Playstation 4 beta keys. The issue arises from having different regions set on PSN and Uplay. You need to synchronise them – set your PSN region to match the region on your Uplay account. This should eliminate the problem.

“Technical Test is Closed” error in Ghost Recon Wildlands

Lots of console players are reporting getting this error, both on Xbox One and PS4. Here are some things you could try:

  • Restart the console
  • Reduild the database
  • Delete the game’s save files
  • Reinstall the beta

Ghost Recon Wildlands game outdated error

Some players are complaining about getting an error message saying their version of the game is outdated. Nothing seems to help – reinstalling, verifying game files, tinkering with config files… Some people have reported turning off recording/framerate tracking software like Fraps or Bandicam did them good.

Error Tarija-00100 & connectivity issues in GR: Wildlands

All of the Tarija errors signify connectivity issues. The first thing you should do is try forwarding the following ports:

  • Uplay PC: TCP 80, 443, 14000, 14008, 14020, 14021, 14022, 14023 and 14024.
  • Game Ports: UDP 3074 to 3083
If that doesn’t work, check out the other steps Ubisoft recommends when having connectivity issues with Ghost Recon: Wildlands.

Mission bugs in Ghost Recon Wildlands beta

Certain missions are bugged, like Amaru’s Rescue, Rebellion Rising, La Yuri and El Polito. If you experience any issues with them, you should try restarting the game. If that doesn’t help, restart the mission.

Ghost Recon Wildlands beta invitation problems

A lot of people have been having trouble with invitations. Some are complaining that the invites they’ve sent to friends hadn’t arrived, others didn’t get theirs even though they had guaranteed access to the beta. The only thing you can do is contact support and ask for their help. There’s nothing to be done on your side. Keep in mind, if you were invited by a friend, you won’t get to invite further people.
