How to unlock weapons in Ghost Recon Wildlands

The video below will tell you everything you need to know – which precise models you can find in the game, how they behave in action, how much you can customize them, and most importantly, how to unlock them. Many of them are found in weapon caches scattered around the map – the video will show you in which areas you should look for them. Others are unlocked by defeating bosses, or completing story missions.

The weapons are divided into seven categories:

  • Assault rifle
  • Light machine gun
  • Submachine gun
  • Sniper rifle
  • Shotgun
  • Compact machine gun
  • Handgun

Although many of the weapons are military grade, there is also a bunch of pre-customized or DIY guns in the mix. It’s a great option if you want a peculiar looking gun, but can’t be bothered to customize it yourself. Of course, if you want a truly unique boomstick, you’ll need to roll up your sleeves and fire up the gunsmith. It allows you to change parts, which alters the functionality of a weapon, and to tweak the looks by applying different decals and colors.
