Gwent Public Beta Now Available on PC, Xbox One & PlayStation 4

Gwent players have already said their fond farewells to the Closed Beta. We’ll all cherish the memories of the battles we shared and the annoying metas that drove us insane. Now, Gwent has entered a new chapter of its life – the Public Beta. Finally, everyone that wanted to play the game but didn’t make it into the Closed Beta will have a chance to sit at the Gwent table. This includes PlayStation 4 players that had to sit out the game’s life cycle until now. Console owners can download the client directly from the PlayStation Store or Xbox Store, while PC players can grab it from GOG.com.

Marcin Iwiński, co-founder of CD Projekt Red, addressed the community, encouraging everyone to keep sending feedback, so that the game can continue evolving.

Public Beta is an important step towards GWENT’s final release. We’re opening the gates to everyone who wanted to play, but didn’t make it into the Closed Beta, and — at the same time — we’re introducing some pretty significant content and gameplay changes like adding animated versions of cards for every card in the game, new starter decks, or how weather cards work. I’m extra curious how all of the community feedback we’ve incorporated will resonate with both current players and those who’re just starting. Please keep the feedback coming, we’re listening!

Below, you can check out the Gwent Gameplay trailer. The video briefly explains how the game works, just to whet your appetite. The actual game is even more complex and engaging than the video makes it out to be. So, if collectible card games are you jam, grab a chair and join us at the Gwent table!
