Mafia 3 Car Customization

We’re finally going to be able to actually pimp our rides! The developers have promised these additions even before the game was officially out, and it’s great to see them keeping their promise. You’ll be able to customize 10 cars in total – the six you unlock during the game, the three from the Family Kick-Back pack, and a new one that was added with this update.

The new car is called the Griffin Marauder, and it’s a swanky sportscar with sleek curves and an open top. The only way to acquire it is by dominating the race circuit. The races will become available after you’ve had the first sitdown, like many other things in the game. There will be 12 of them – six are about getting from point A to point B, while the other six have multiple laps. They’ll be marked on your map as soon as they’re available.

The only way to unlock new customization options for your cars will be by winning races. It looks like you’re stuck at the circuit, whether you like it or not. Once you’ve earned them, you’ll be able to apply them from any garage in New Bordeaux.

As for Lincoln, he’s getting three new outfits in this update. One of them is a variation of Burke’s outfit (with a flat cap). Another is called “On the prowl”, but there’s really no info about it. The third one is a throwback to the older Mafia titles – it includes a three piece suit, a coat, a fedora and a custom revolver. It’s also the easiest one to get – simply link the game to your My2K account, et voila.
