Mass Effect Andromeda Remnant Decryption Key Locations

Remnant Decryption Keys are consumable items in Mass Effect Andromeda. They can be used to override Remnant puzzles. You’ll need one or more for each puzzle you don’t want to solve by hand. They can be found scattered across the galaxy, and maybe even bought from some vendors. In this guide, we’re going to show you Mass Effect Andromeda Remnant Decryption key locations.

Where to find Remnant Decryption Keys

The keys are Remnant tech, and you’ll mostly have to salvage them. The Remnant enemies might drop them. You can also often find them around Remnant-related buildings, vehicles and locations. As the game progresses, Liam might offer to research them for you, so you can buy them at the Tempest. At this point, anything is possible.

Since we don’t know how rare they really are, we suggest you don’t use up the ones you find in the trial. The first few Remnant Decryption puzzles are pretty straightforward, and everyone should be able to figure them out without too much trouble. The keys might be really scarce, so saving them for later is the best course of action. Also make sure you don’t sell them by mistake.

We still don’t know whether there’s any use for the keys except for this. They might end up being valuable for something else as well – hold onto them as long as possible.
