The Deviljho have been a staple monster in the Monster Hunter World series for a while now. They are truly beastly monsters, very much like a T-Rex, except with a lot more mouth and teeth. They are a fairly serious, formidable enemy, even for Monster Hunter standards. So, of course, seasoned players have been anxiously awaiting the arrival of the Deviljho anxiously. There has been some talk about the new monster joining the game this week, through an event quest, but that’s not the case. The Deviljho will instead be unleashed into the wild next Thursday, on March 22nd. There’s no information on how exactly the new monster will be introduced to the game. It might just end up being an event quest. We’ll have to wait and see.

In other Monster Hunter World news, the game will soon have a crossover with another hugely popular Capcom property, Devil May Cry. Yes, you’ll be able to roam the world hunting all kinds of monstrosities as non other than Dante. And we’re talking about the proper Dante here silver hair and his sword Alastor and all; not that re-imagined one that we do not speak of. And what is a bunch of monsters to a demon hunter that’s half-demon himself, son of the mighty Sparda? According to the announcement, Dante will be available for all players, provided you complete the correct Event Quest. There’s no exact date for when exactly Dante will join Monster Hunter world, but you can check out the reveal trailer below.
