Need for Speed Payback PC Specs and 4K 60fps gameplay Video Released

A new gameplay video for r Need for Speed Payback has been released (60fps, 4k), along with the PC hardware requirements. People with Chrome and a 4K monitor can watch the video in all its glory on Nvidia’s YouTube channel.

According to EA, in order to run the game in 1080p at 60fps, you will need a GeForce GTX 1060 or Radeon RX 480. The minimum hardware requirements are GeForce GTX 750 Ti or Radeon HD 7850. This should be enough to run the game in 720p at 30fps.

Here are the detailed minimum and recommended specs for the game.

Minimum Requirements for low settings – 720p, 30fps:

  • OS: 64-bit Windows 7 or later
  • CPU: Intel i3 6300 @ 3.8GHz or AMD FX 8150 @ 3.6GHz with 4 hardware threads
  • RAM: 6GB
  • DISC DRIVE: DVD ROM drive required for installation only
  • HARD DRIVE: 30GB
  • VIDEO: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Ti, AMD Radeon HD 7850 or equivalent DX11 compatible GPU with 2GB of memory
  • INPUT: Dual analog controller
  • ONLINE CONNECTION REQUIREMENTS: 192 KBPS or faster Internet connection

Recommended Requirements for high settings – 1080p, 60fps:

  • CPU: Intel i5 4690K @ 3.5GHz or AMD FX 8350 @ 4.0GHz with 4 hardware threads
  • RAM: 8GB
  • DISC DRIVE: DVD ROM drive required for installation only
  • HARD DRIVE: 30GB
  • VIDEO: AMD Radeon RX 480 4GB, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 4GB or equivalent DX11 compatible GPU with 4GB of memory
  • INPUT: Dual analog controller
  • ONLINE CONNECTION REQUIREMENTS: 512 KBPS or faster Internet connection

Need for Speed Payback is set to be released on November 10 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Purchasing the Need for Speed Payback Deluxe Edition will allow players to start playing the game three days earlier.

In addition to early access, people who purchase the deluxe version will get rep bonuses, a special license plate and five vehicles from the Platinum Car Pack.
