Shadow of the Tomb Raider New Game Plus will Feature New Paths

The Tomb Raider franchise is going to shake things up a little with Shadow of the Tomb Raider. Among other things, Square Enix is going to add New Game Plus to the game. Strangely enough, this is the first time that a Tomb Raider game will feature that mode. As is standard for New Game Plus, it will unlock once you complete Shadow of the Tomb Raider for the first time. You’ll then be able to replay the game with brand new features, and, presumably, all of the stuff that you’ve unlocked in your first playthrough.

According to GameRant, though, the new Tomb Raider is going to go the extra mile when it comes to New Game Plus. In the mode, you’ll unlock one of three new paths for you to follow, based on your play style. The three paths in question are Serpent, Jaguar, and Eagle. The Serpent Path is all about stealth, camouflage, etc. Jaguar, on the other hand, is about combat and hunting, aka a much more aggressive approach. Lastly, the Eagle Path focuses on traversal and being resourceful.

Each of these paths are going to feature unlockables unique to the path that you’re following. This includes special skills, as well as rewards for the path you’re following, such as weapons and outfits. Shadow of the Tomb Raider is coming out on September 14th on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. Which path are you going to follow? Will you be the Jaguar, the Eagle, or the Serpent?
