Prey is the new game from Dishonored creators Arkane Studios, coming out in a matter of days. It’s a sci-fi horror action-adventure set in the not-too-distant future, in an alternate reality where John Kennedy wasn’t assassinated. You play as scientist Morgan Yu, who has to escape an infected space station and save the world from the aliens.

Raphael Colantonio, creative director at Arkane Stuidos, recently gave an interview to AListDaily. He talked about the game and what plans they have in the future. When asked whether there are any plans for Prey post-launch content, this is what he had to say:

Yes, absolutely. We don’t have any plans to announce yet, but we are working on a variety of things—including updates—to keep the game going.

He also talked about the game itself and what we can expect to get from it. According to him, players won’t be able to discover everything in Prey on the first playthrough. For one, it’s impossible to unlock all alien powers in one go. You’ll just have to replay it and choose different powers, apparently. Also, there’ll be several choices in Prey that are mutually exclusive. That means, again, that you’ll have to play again to see what the other choices do. This will certainly add a lot to the overall replay value.

Prey is scheduled to come out on May 5th for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. You can preorder it in order to get some bonus goodies.
