Resident Evil 7 Endings

NOTE: This page is a work in progress. It’s based on speculation and info picked up from leaked information and videos. We’ll update it with more accurate information once the game comes out. However, there are some spoilers ahead. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.

RE7 All Endings

According to the leaked information, there are multiple endings. From what we’ve gathered, you won’t achieve them by making direct choices. Instead, what you’ve missed will dictate which ending you’ll get. We could be wrong, but it sounds like this is the case. For instance, for just running through the game, you’d get one ending. If you’d discover one important secret during your playthrough, you’d get another one. In case you ended up discovering several important secrets, you’d get one that’s different from the first two.

It could also depend on how you treat people in the game. We know you’ll come in contact with the Baker family, but we have no idea how scripted those encounters are. Maybe you can talk to them. Maybe you can listen, become their friend and make them see the error of their ways. Maybe you can brutally murder them all early on.

The info dataminers got from the game’s files suggests there will be a happy ending among them. Whether that’s true or simply another troll by Capcom remains to be seen. We’ll update this guide with precise info as soon as the game’s live.
