How to Beat Shadow of the Tomb Raider Jungle Cavern Tomb

As you walk inside the tomb, the first thing you’ll run into is a jump, which appears you can make easily. The tomb itself is in the Peruvian Jungle area, northwest of the Plane Wreckage base camp. Turns out, no, you can’t, and you’ll fall into a puddle of water. Don’t worry, there shouldn’t be anything dangerous for you down there. Swim out of the water, and you’ll come across a mini-puzzle, which basically teaches you a mechanic vital to completing the tomb.

First, go left of the staircase and grab one of the language tablets. Next, go into the far corner of the room, and climb up the platform. Leap across onto the weight, and that will move the statue out of the way. Plus, the weight will lock into place, which will also become important soon.

Cross the bridge, and right into the water and dive through to the other side, then scale the wall on the left once you reemerge. At the top, there’s another language tablet to grab. Head right, and you’ll now be in the main room of the tomb.

Drop to the lower level and head left. There will be a cart you can pull, so do that. This will cause the statue to fall down. Now, head towards the cart close to where the statue has fallen, and move it back and to the right. Then, take the cart you pulled out earlier, and return it to its previous position, so it can lock in the weight again.

Use your arrow to tie the rope point on the statue to the rope point on the fallen ladder in the middle of the room. Head a little back and climb the wall on the left. Navigate through this small section, but beware of the traps! Jump onto the weight, and lower it into the cart to lock it in. This will raise the statue, as well as the ladder, to a point. Now, hop down and push the second cart to the right, underneath the second weight. Climb up the ladder on the right, and look for the statue that’s hanging above. Use your bow and arrow to tie the statue and the ladder, just like before.

Climb up to where the weight is hanging, again, just like in the previous step. Jump onto the weight to bring it down and lock it in. This will raise the other statue, bringing the ladder all the way up. All that’s left now is to climb the ladder, grab your skill point, and get the hell out of there.
