Can’t start up SW Battlefront 2 – Missing DLL: [mfplat.dll] Errpor: 0x7e.

This error is related to the version of windows and a media pack should fix it – check out support.microsoft.com.

Battlefront 2 Black Screen Bug

A lot of players reported Black Screen bug when loading and while equipping items. The first answer is update your drivers, but you can also try enabling DX12 in the advanced Video options menu then restart the game for this change to apply. Also, turning off the 4K UI in the graphics options will fixed it.

Error Code 770 in Battlefront 2

This error basically means that you’re having problems connecting to EA’s servers. Unfortunately, there’s not much you can do with this. It might just be that the servers are overloaded right now.

Error Code 2495 – don’t getting items when opening crates

This error affects all packs, and until now there is no official solution.

Star Wars Battlefront 2 beta crashing on PC

Most of the crash reports seem to be tied to turning on the DirectX 12 rendered in the game’s settings. In order to solve this problem you’ll have to change an .ini file. Go to C:\Users\your-username\Documents\STAR WARS Battlefront II Multiplayer Beta\settings\. Backup the files before changing anything. Open the boot options or profile options file, and look for a line that says “GstRender.EnableDx12 1” (without the quote marks). Change the value from one to zero and save the file. You should now be able to run the game without a hitch.

Star Wars Battlefront II PC Lag Issue

The PC version of Battlefront II seems to be having pretty horrible lag issues, with some people even having the game use up all 100% of their CPU. It’d be easy to blame it on weak PCs, but the thing is, it seems that the beta worked perfectly for these people. Unfortunately, there’s nothing you can do about this. If your rig meets the requirements, and your drivers are updated properly, then that’s that. We can only hope that Dice fixes this before the full game launches.

Forever Loading Screen After Leaving Match

This seems to happen on Xbox and PC. After leaving a match, the loading screen just stays there forever. Unfortunately, other than restarting the game, there’s nothing you can do to fix this. This is another problem that Dice is going to have to patch up.

No Deluxe Edition Content Appearing on Xbox

A lot of Xbox players haven’t been able to find any of their Deluxe Edition bonuses, such as crates. This issue has been prevalent on Xbox, but some PC players have been having the same problem. Unfortunately, it seems that you’ll have to wait until November 14th to get your bonus stuff. If you do think there is a problem, contact customer support. “Deluxe edition content will arrive on the 14th alongside the release of the deluxe edition on Xbox Live. Currently the game thinks you have a standard edition based on how EA Access works on the Xbox platform.”

Individual Classes Not Ranking Up

Some people have been noticing that their individual Battlefront 2 classes haven’t been leveling up, despite heavy play. This is not a glitch; it’s simply the result of the game being tailored to microtransactions. Your character doesn’t level up by playing, oh no. Instead, your level and rank are based on how much stuff you unlock for a given class. So, keep collecting star cards (and upgrading them), attachments, and other stuff.

Battlefront 2 Trial Won’t Launch on Origin

Some players have been encountering an issue, where they try to access the trial and nothing loads. The only thing that happens is that Origin gets minimized. There are some things that you can try in order to fix this. For example, you can try restarting Origin, or your PC. Make sure that all of your drivers are properly updated, and that you setup can support the game’s requirements. Also, reinstalling the game might help, as well as killing overlay programs that might cause problems. However, this seems to be a pretty broad issue, and some people have tried everything to no avail. Ultimately, it’s up to Dice to figure this one out.

EA Access Showing “Too Early” Message

If you see this “error”, it might be that you’ve completed your 10 hours of the trial. If you’ve played less than that, then you might have to try and get in touch with customer support and see if they can help you out. It might be that the client mistakenly thinks that you’ve played for ten hours.
