Skellige Undvik Armor Set was added to the Witcher 3 in a free DLC on June 24th. There are two variants: one is level 16, the other 41, and the stronger one is one of the best armor sets in the game, not to mention one of the best looking.

In this guide, we’re going to show you where to buy the Undvik armor, what it looks it and what its stats are.
How to get Skellige Armor Set
You’ll have to go to the armorer in Kaer Trolde – the one in the keep, on the terrace to the right, just after you cross the bridge. The armor is pricey, with every piece selling for upward of 2500 gold, but it’s worth it for the looks alone.

The horse armor matches Geralt’s outfit, and looks every bit as great. Here’s what it does:

The Skellige (Undvik) set is comprised of heavy armor, and it proves unprecedented levels of protection. It has a high armor rating, and amazing resistances to slashing, piercing and bludgeoning damage.
so just to make sure you can purchase the rank 16 armor and wear it around then when you reach level 35+ another set of the same armor will appear for purchase but a rank 41 correct?
i think they changed the level from 41 to 16 permanently because i cant find the higher level armor set any where. I am sure the armorer on the bridge doesn’t have it. is it true or do i have to look somewhere else ?
That’s because there’ll be addictional content which You can buy. 2 actually, one with around 10-12 hours long adventure and second with ~23 hours long adventure in other world/universe.
The level of a piece of gear indicates the level your character must be to wear the equipment. In other words, you cant put a level 41 piece of gear on a character that is only a level 16.. Make sense?
Very nice looking this new armor set. And good stats also.
But im wondering why would the 2nd set is a lvl41 set.
As I have finished the main quest line on the hardest difficult lvl already and my Witcher is “only” lvl 34.
Duncan – The first set is made for the base game, the second for use in Game ++
Like you, I’ve never been able to get above Level 34 in the base game and usually finish by Level 32.
Playing my first round with the first DLC from a fresh start so we’ll see where that puts me before the G++ start.
This will be fit perfectly with my mastercrafted steel and silver ursine swords.

You need to have finished the game , I have level 37 and the armorer in the castle sells me that set at level 41.
Meanwhile, on my level 81…

Its not another “universe”. It’s a duchy inside the Nilfgaard empire called Toussaint.
It only shows lvl 16. When is lvl 41 available ? Does my character need the same lvl?
you must be lvl 41+
To buy it, you have to be 35+. To wear it, you have to be 41+.

They probably come up with a NG+ as part of the Mini DLC. And the expansions will probably add some levels as well.

Lol I’m on my first Play through and I’m at lvl 45
Because you can get the DLC new game plus that slows you to retain your characters stats and weapons when you restart the game.
