Where to find horse fairy in Zelda BoTW

The horse fairy is located in the south of the map, in the Faron region. It’s near the Highland stable – teleport to the Lake Tower or the Ka’o Makagh shrine, then get to the southern road. Follow it to the east, across the wooden bridge, and into the dead end. You’ll find a giant, closed flower there.

Interact with the flower, and Malany, the horse fairy will talk to you. She will ask you to pay 1000 rupees to help her restore her power. If you’re having trouble getting that kind of money, check out our rupee farming guide. This will give you the chance to revive any of your previous horses. This is great way to get back a horse that has grown on you during your adventures, or a fast and durable mount that died in the line of duty.

How to get Royal Stallion back

The method above works even on special horses, like the super speedy Royal Stallion you get from completing the Royal White Stallion quest. It’s one of the fastest steeds in the game (not including Epona), and if you happen to lose it, it’s good to know a way to bring it back from the dead.

In order to get this horse visit the Outskirts Stable and look for an old man called Toffa. He’ll give you a quest called Royal White Stallion.
