The Weapon Connoisseur Quest

The weapons you need to find for Nebb usually drop from enemies. If you’ve already killed the ones we posted as a weapon source below, wait for the next Blood Moon and you’ll find them there again.

Where to find Traveler’s Sword

The first weapon is fairly common at the start of the game. You’ll probably have it in your inventory by the time you reach Hateno Village. It is carried by Bokoblins, who have numerous camps on your way to the village from the Great Plateau. If you are like me, and you’ve dropped it for some other weapon, there are a couple of locations in the open where you can find it.

The location where you can find one Traveler’s Sword is in Kakariko Village, just northwest from Hateno Village. In the eastern part of Kakariko Village, there is a tall waterfall. On its bottom, close to the small wooden bridge, you’ll find the Traveler’s Sword in the water. Take it to Nebb and he will give you 20 rupees.

Fire Rod location

The next weapon is dropped by Fire Wizzrobes. These enemies walk on air, and the weapon they carry is on fire. The location where you can find them is just south of Woodland Tower. You get to this tower by following the road from northeastern Central Hyrule towards the Lost Woods. If you use Ice Arrows against them, they die from one hit. Take the weapon to Nebb for one Red Rupee (worth 20 rupees).

Moblin Club

These clubs are carried by Moblins. Three of them are located in southwestern Central Hyrule, on your way to the Gerudo Desert. The closest shrine is Rita Ooh, just next to the Outskirt Stable.

From the Rita Ooh Shrine, follow the road to the south. Just before the Digdogg Suspension Bridge, you’ll spot three Moblins. Kill them and take the weapon to Nebb for a 50 rupee reward.

Where to find Duplex Bow

The next two weapons are found in northern Gerudo Desert. Although the Duplex Bow doesn’t require any quest, we suggest to take the main one called “Divine Beast Vah Naboris” from Gerudo Town. This will allow you to collect the Duplex Bow and Windcleaver in one go. To take the quest, you’ll need to enter Gerudo Town, which is not an easy task.

The Duplex bow drops from Yiga Footsoldiers. Three of them are found in a small valley in northern Gerudo. This small valley is positioned between areas like Meadala’s Mantle, Vatorsa Snowfield and Sapphia’s Table. You can’t spot Yiga Footsoldiers from a distance, since they only show up when you come close to them.

If you follow the road northeast from Sho Dantu or west from Kuh Takkar Shrine, you’ll eventually stumble upon them. Just be sure to be on the ground level. Nebb gives 50 rupees for this one.

Windcleaver

For this weapon it becomes important that you have the quest “Divine Beast Vah Naboris”. Following this quest, you’ll get into the area marked in the Duplex Bow description. As soon as you enter the Yiga Clan Hideout (that is locked without the quest), kill the first enemy in there called Yiga Blademaster.

Yiga Blademaster drops the Windcleaver. If you’ve completed the quest, you can expect them to pop up randomly while you are wandering the world. Nebb gives 100 rupees when you show him the Windcleaver.

Ancient Battle Axe +

In order to get this one, you’ll need to find the shrine that has a guardian in it. Once you defeat a guardian, it drops various weapons, and one of them is the Ancient Battle Axe +. Some of the shrines where you can fight guardians are Mijah Rokee, Sasa Kai, Muwo Jeem, Namika Ozz. The reward for Ancient Battle Axe+ is 100 rupees.

Frostspear

Frostspears drop from Lizalfos. You’ll find one in the northwesternmost area called Hebra, just west of Mozo Shenno Shrine. If you zoom up the map to the maximum, you can spot the skull-shaped structure. Head toward it. You’ll find one Lizalfos inside of it. One fire arrow kills them instantly. Finding this weapon gives you 300 rupees.

Ancient Short Sword

Ancient Short Sword is a weapon you can buy in Akkala Ancient Tech Lab, in the northeasternmost part of the map. In order to enter the lab, you need to light up the blue fire as a part of the side quest. To get this side quest, you need to complete a step of the main “Locked Mementos” quest, the one regarding Hateno Ancient Tech Lab.

The Ancient Short Sword costs 1 000 rupees, 15 Ancient Springs, 5 Ancient Shafts and 2 Ancient Cores. Once you bring it to Nebb, he will give you one Diamond, worth 500 rupees.
