With a View ARC Raiders Quest
ARC Raiders: With a View is a newly added quest introduced in the Headwinds update, and it’s available to all players. Set on the perilous Stella Montis map, this mission sends you deep into high-risk zones where preparation is key. Before you can even begin progressing the quest, you’ll need to secure two crucial items: the Rotary Encoder and the Ion Sputter. Without both, the With a View quest cannot be completed. In this guide, we’ll walk you through the best locations to find these items and explain how to complete every step of the ARC Raiders With a View quest efficiently.
With a View ARC Raiders Quest
What makes With a View unique is its reliance on random-drop quest items. Both the Rotary Encoder and Ion Sputter drop exclusively from loot containers, which can make progress feel inconsistent. That said, there are reliable farming locations. Your best chance of obtaining both items is by looting containers in the Medical Research and Assembly Workshops areas on Stella Montis. These zones consistently offer the highest concentration of relevant loot, making them ideal for repeated runs.
After securing both items, head to one of the Control Rooms located near the Assembly Line. Inside each Control Room, you’ll find a server switch that can only be activated if you have the Rotary Encoder in your inventory. Once the switch is activated, the next objective can be completed in the same room by interacting with a nearby computer terminal. In the screenshot below I marked all Control Room locations.
The final step requires you to deliver the Ion Sputter, but if you followed this route, you’ll already have it on hand. With all objectives completed, you can safely extract and return home, wrapping up the ARC Raiders With a View quest with minimal backtracking and maximum efficiency.
