Combat Recon ARC Raiders Quest
The latest ARC Raiders update introduces a new quest titled Combat Recon, sending players into the dangerous depths of the Buried City. This mission focuses on reconnaissance and positioning, requiring you to investigate three distinct locations: a cover spot inside the Parking Garage, the buses near Marano Park, and the attics along Main Street. In this guide, we’ll walk you through each location and explain how to complete the Combat Recon quest efficiently.
Combat Recon ARC Raiders Quest
The first objective tasks you with scoping out a cover position inside the Parking Garage stairwell. You’ll find the Parking Garage located near the Hospital and Space Travel buildings, making it easy to identify once you enter the area. Head inside and climb the staircases until you reach the garage exit door. From there, move close to the designated spot and press E to Scope out and complete the first step of the quest.
For the second step, head to Marano Park, where you’ll find several buses parked in the area. Enter any bus, and when the prompt appears, press the E key to scope the location, completing this objective.
The third step requires you to scope out a cover position in the attics around Main Street. To reach them, jump across nearby rooftops and look for houses with open windows. Enter through one of these openings, then use the zipline inside to access the attic. Once you’re in position, approach the window and press E to scope out the area.
For the final step, you’ll need to destroy two Spotters anywhere on the Buried City map. These enemies are most commonly found patrolling near Bombardiers, so those areas are a good place to start your search. We encountered both Spotters at the location shown below, making it a reliable farming spot if you’re looking to finish the quest quickly.
