The first thing you need to do in order to execute a QB slide on Xbox One or Series X/S is to pass the line of scrimmage. After that, all you need to do is tap X. It has to be just a tap; if you hold the button for a bit longer, your quarterback will dive instead of slide. On PlayStation 4 and 5, the system is the same – pass the scrimmage line and tap Square. Again, just a tap, or your player will dive. Last, but not least, PC. It’s identical as it is on consoles, the only difference is that the button you need to tap is “E,” if you’re one of those people that plays sports games on mouse and keyboard.
