Persona 5 Delayed Again For April
The release of Persona 5 for the Western market has been delayed again. The sixth main-series installment of the twenty-year-old franchise was supposed to come out in 2015.
This is one in a series of delays of Persona 5, and Western fans are getting restless. Publisher Atlus have given few reasons for the new delay of Persona 5.
The developers have promised to add dual audio to the game to make up for the delay. This means that players will be able to switch between Japanese and English voices. Fans are arguing over this. Some fans say that the dual audio is worth the wait, while others believe that this should be a given. Atlus hasn’t given any other reasons for the hold-up as of now; however, it’s probably due to localization issues. The game is enormous, so localizing it can’t be an easy feat. Developers will also be adding voiceovers for lines that didn’t have them before. Overall, it seems that they really want to give players the best possible localization, and that’s the reason for the delay.
