Is Alone in the Dark Coming to PS4 & Xbox One?

A remake of the classic 1992 survival horror, Alone in Dark is going to come out very soon. Available for the PC, Xbox Series X/S, and on the PlayStation 5, the game features some real talent in the form of Hollywood stars David Harbour and Jodie Comer. The game looks to be very graphically impressive and hopefully it will live up to the impressive legacy of the original. However, this has raised some questions, such as – is Alone in the Dark coming to PS4 & Xbox One? We are going to see whether or not that is the case, right here in this guide.

Is Alone in the Dark 2024 Coming to PS4 and Xbox One?

Currently, there is no indication that Alone in the Dark 2024 is going to come out on the PS4 and Xbox One consoles. The reason for this is that the game is very graphically advanced, and as such it requires powerful hardware in order to be able to run it. Of course, old gen devices such as PS4 and Xbox One (and PCs that don’t meet the minimum hardware requirements) are not suited for this.

The sad reality is that more and more games in the future are going to be made for new gen devices and powerful PCs. So the only thing that we can really recommend here is that you look into upgrading your consoles or PC specs if you want to be able to play the latest – and upcoming – video games. Of course, there’s always the chance that Alone in the Dark 2024 is going to be ported over to the PS4 and Xbox One, but the odds of this happening are, to be frank, extrmely low.
