Alone in the Dark is an upcoming reimagining of the 1992 original of the same name. Itself a seminal landmark of both early 3D games and survival horror, the 1992 version is still remembered today as one of the cornerstones of 90s video games. So the idea to remake the game with all new graphics, gameplay systems, and, of course, a star-studded cast was met with a lot of positive reactions from fans both old and new. Alone in the Dark Voice Actors Cast List
The two biggest names here are David Harbour as Edward Carnby, and Jodie Comer as Emily Hartwood. These two the main leads, and they also lend their liknesses to the characters in question. Let’s start with David Harbour first. As you no doubt know, he is the star of Stranger Things, where he plays Jim Hopper. A parental figure to Eleven, Jim is a gruff, albeit very likable character that slowly warms up to his role as a surrogate father to the psychic girl. Besides ST, Harbour also stared in Hellboy as the titular character, and MCU’s Black Widow as the Red Guardian. He is set to reprise this role in the upcoming Thunderbolts.
And, of course, Jodie Comer. By far best known for her starring role in Killing Eve, where she played an unhinged, yet strangely charismatic and endearing psychopathic hired killer, she also had notable roles in Free Guy and Ridley Scott’s historic epic The Last Duel. And while it remains to be seen how well Jodie and David play off of each other, one thing is for certain – Alone in the Dark will be a better game because of them.
