How to rearrange items in pocket inventory?

In order to change item positions in your pocket, you first have to open it. Hold X to access the inventory, then hover the cursor over the item you want to move. Press and hold A, and the cursor will soon change from a pointing hand to a grabbing one. While still holding down A, move the item to the slot you want it to occupy. Release the button and the object will stay firmly in its new place. That’s all there is to it – it’s simple and effective. It’s just a shame the game doesn’t teach you how to do it properly.

Since you’ll constantly add and remove stuff from your pockets, it’s great that there’s a way to move it around and rearrange it to your liking. For instance, we like having all the tools in a bunch, which makes it easier to switch between them as needed.
