How to Get the Chest Inside Dyeing Factory House in Assassin’s Creed Mirage

The Dyeing Factory is one of the first locations you’ll visit in Baghdad. You will be brought here naturally, as a part of one of the first main story investigations, where you have to find the rebel-supporting merchant, who turns out to be an old friend – Dervis. This location is very colourful, with a bunch of containers filled with dyes. It is a really hard-to-miss location. If you decide to explore and use your eagle vision, you’ll see that there are several chests in the area. Most contain crafting materials, but one is inside a house that seems to be completely inaccessible. Both the doors and the windows are barred. So, how do you reach the chest inside a house in the Dyeing Factory? What you actually need to do is to break the lock of a Barred Window, and get through it.

How to Break the Lock and Open The Barred Window in AC Mirage

Barred windows are a kind of obstacle you can only open from the inside. You can achieve this by finding a way to break the lock. So, how do you break the lock on the barred window on a house in the Dyeing Factory in AC Mirage? Read on as we explain. The first thing you need to do is to open your Tool Wheel by holding RT on Xbox or R2 on PlayStation. From there, select throwing knives to equip them. That’s what we will use to break open the Barred Window and get the chest in the Dyeing Factory.

Furthermore, the next thing you need to do is to find the perfect spot from where you will throw the knife inside the house. When you use the eagle vision, you’ll see a jar next to the window, which glows red. The goal is to hit the jar with a throwing knife, which will ignite a fire and break the window. It’s very hard to find the best spot from where you will be able to hit the jar. We’ve managed to find a good place after some investigation. On the rooftop of a smaller house next to the one with the chest is a place from where you can barely hit the jar. Check out our images for the exact spot.

Once you place yourself perfectly, aim (hold LT/L2) for the jar and throw (press RT/R2) the knife. If you hit it, it will explode and blast open the window. Now, head to the other side and enter the house through the now-open window. The AC Mirage chest in Dyeing Factory will wait for you inside. Keep in mind that you will need a Merchant Token in order to open it.
