AC Mirage How to Get Gear Chest in the ship at Upper Harbor
If you are wondering how to get to the gear chest inside the ship at Upper Harbor in Assassin’s Creed Mirage, you are not the only one. You will come across this gear chest at Upper Harbor in Herbiyah while completing Contact the Rebels investigation in AC Mirage. Additionally, this gear chest will reward you with Zanj Uprising Outfit. How to Get to Gear Chest in the ship at Upper Harbor in Herbiyah in Assassin’s Creed Mirage
For the AC Mirage Contact the Rebels main story mission, or investigation as Assassin’s Creed Mirage calls it, you are tasked with finding Beshi and the clue sends you to Upper Harbor. He asks you to help him free his comrades in the harbor. While you do this you’ll come across one of his comrades to be captured on a ship in the harbor. If you use your eagle vision you’ll notice that there’s also a gear chest on this ship as well. You can also see its icon if you open the map when you’re close enough.
You can find valuable items inside gear chests like swords, daggers, outfits and perks, that can vastly change your gameplay style. Unfortunately the gear chest on the ship in Upper Harbor is locked behind a movable shelf puzzle. They remind me of that very old game called Sokoban. You have to move a shelf, or whatever you want to call these obstacles, in a certain way to be able to reach the treasure chest.
How to move wooden shelves and open gear chest inside the ship at Upper Harbor in AC Mirage
If you are playing on PC, use Y to move, and B to release a shelf. Grab the first wooden shelf and push it forward, as far as you can. Now jump over the small crate on your right. You will see another second shelf next to the wall. Pull it back, towards the entrance. Now turn around towards the first shelf and push it from this side. Push it as far as you can towards the gear chest.
This will open a small passageway to your right. Go through it towards the wall where you can see the third movable shelf. You have to move this shelf to the right. You can do it by going behind the wooden crates, and pulling the third shelf back. This will unblock the second small passage that leads to the first shelf behind the wooden wall. Your last step is to pull back the first shelf as far as you can from the gear chest. Now, you can easily open the chest.
Once you open the chest you’ll get a treasure – Zanj Uprising Outfit. The outfit of a Zanj rebel reduces the impact of illegal actions on Basim’s notoriety by 20%. Additionally, if you collect all three pieces the percentage increases to 40%.
