Where to Find All Lost Books Locations in AC Mirage

Abbasiyah is probably one of the most interesting locations to explore in AC Mirage. It is the cultural and scientific center of Baghdad. Here, great minds discuss philosophy, hard-working scholars dedicate their work to science, and the most creative artists of the Empire showcase their work. Abbasiyah is truly Baghdad’s intellectual ground zero. Naturally, you will find several quests here related to these scholars, such as the “A Life’s Work” tale. It’s also here that you will meet Al-Jahiz, inside the House of Wisdom.

Al-Jahiz is a writer, as he will proudly announce. He doesn’t want you thinking he’s a librarian just because he has a lot of book. However, he do admit that he’s also a collector. Namely, he strives to gather the rarest ancient tomes of the Empire to his collection. Hence, he’ll ask you a simple task. He wants you to find and bring him 6 Lost Books of AC Mirage. These books are scattered all across the Baghdad. Of course, you will be rewarded for every tome you bring back. Hence, without further ado, here’s where you can find every Lost Book location in Assassin’s Creed Mirage.

AC Mirage Abbasiyah Lost Book Location

The first Look Book is directly north of where you meet Al-Jahiz. The city wall there goes above a canal, and the book is across the canal. Check out our map below for the exact location. The book is on the second floor of a small house there. Break the barricaded door, move the bookshelf blocking the stairs, and head upstairs. Finally, check the desk, and you will find the first Lost Book location in AC Mirage.

AC Mirage Quadrangle of the Persians Lost Book Location

The next AC Mirage Lost Book is in the Quadrangle of the Persians. Specifically, you can find it in one of the houses across the street from the Great Mosque located there. Check out our images below for the exact location of the house. However, the entrance to the house is barred. Hence, you will need to go behind the building and enter through an open window on the second floor. Once inside, head down the stairs and use your Throwing Knife to break the Fire Jar, which will open the front door. Now, head back to the main door on the street, enter inside, and the book will be on a small desk there.

Harbiyah Lost Book AC Mirage

The third Lost Book location in Assassin’s Creed Mirage is at the northernmost area of the map – the Nestorian Monastery. However, the book is not inside the monastery. Rather, it is in a cellar of one of the houses in the Nestorian Monastery’s yard. To reach it, you will need to enter the cellar through a hidden door and then move several racks in order to access a hole in the wall. Karkh Lost Book AC Mirage

Moving forward, we’re heading to the Karkh district. Specifically, to the Sharqiyah subdistrict. This AS Mirage Lost Book location is right next to the Harbor Camp. It is in a small shanty hose where the canal meets the river. You will first need to use your Throwing Knife to break the barred window. Then, head to the side of the house looking at the canal and enter the second floor via the now-open window. Karkh Lost Book location is on the desk on the second floor. AC Mirage Wilderness Lost Book Location

The fifth Lost Book is somewhere in the wide expanses of the Wilderness area around Baghdad. However, the game tricks you here a little bit. Namely, this book is right outside of the city walls in the Wilderness South area. It is located in a small market right outside the Pomegranate Gate. The location is called the Tuesday Market. The book is inside the main administrative building in the centre of the market. Important – keep in mind that this is a restricted area. We recommend entering through the window on the second floor, which is accessible via red canopies. If you reach it via the rooftops you can mainly avoid guards. Nevertheless, it will be hard not to eliminate the one in the room with the book. The book is on a table right next to this guard.

AC Mirage Round City Lost Book Location

The final “normal” Lost Book can be found in the Palace of the Green Doom. This is the central location of Baghdad and the whole map. However, MAJOR SPOILERS HERE! This area is only accessible near the very end of the game, where you will basically conclude the story of Assassin’s Creed Mirage. Remember that this is an extremely heavily guarded area, and you will need to be extraordinarily cautious to avoid getting caught. Approach the palace from the “backyard” terrace. There should be a hook which you can use to swing yourself towards the balcony nearby. Once on the balcony, enter the room there, and the Palace of the Green Doom Lost Book should be on one of the tables inside. Make sure to check out our images below for exact details.

Secret Missing Lost Book Location in AC Mirage

Once you bring all six Lost Books in Assassin’s Creed Mirage, in theory, you should complete the Bookworm Case. However, Al-Jahiz will still ask you if you have any other books for him. And the Bookworm Case will still not disappear from the Investigation menu! Is this a bug? It actually isn’t. Namely, there is another secret Lost Book in AC Mirage. The game doesn’t tell you about this, and it is not marked on the map. You will need to discover it on your own. Or you can continue reading our guide!

This final secret Lost Book in Assassin’s Creed Mirage is located in the Wilderness South area. It is at the most southeastern area of the map. In these swamplands, there is a historical site called Seleucia-on-the-Tigris. That’s where you will find the AC Mirage final Lost Book. Use the ladder to climb atop the ruins. Read an Astronomer’s Journal to learn about this location and the ancient tome. The tome itself is hidden beneath the stones on the ground. Use one of the explosive jars to destroy the stones. This will reveal the final 7th Lost Book, called Kitab Al-Azif. Bring the Book of the Dead back to Al-Jahiz, and this will close the Bookworm case!
