Assassin's Creed Odyssey Exclusive Gifts from the Gods Announced

Ubisoft is offering some extra items to those players of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey who want to go a few extra steps. There will be three “Gifts from the Gods” for you to grab, if you follow the appropriate steps. Said steps include registering for a Ubisoft account (or logging into the account of what you already have), and we’ll see what the other steps will be, if any.

So far, Ubisoft has revealed only one of the three Gifts from the Gods. The item in question is the Sidearm Xiphos, which is “a short sword ideal for Spartan warriors who relish close-quarters combat.” To receive it, according to the announcement, you’ll have to go to this page and hit Register. You then have to either create a Ubisoft account or log into the one you already have “between 6/11/2018 to 10/1/2018” and purchase AC Odyssey on a participating platform. The item will then automatically go into your arsenal when the game comes out.

As for what the other two gifts are going to be, we don’t know as of writing this article. The announcement only says to “stay tuned for more info.” We’ll also have to wait and see if you’ll have to do something more to get the other two items, or if registering will be enough for all three. Now, there is a bit of a caveat of sorts in there. The gifts total to about $7.50 worth of in-game items, and “may be available for purchase or giveaway separately.” Also, you can only have one gift package per account, which is really to be expected.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is coming out on October 5th, 2018. Not long of a wait now; less than two weeks left. You can pick it up on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. And, apparently, on the Nintendo Switch via streaming, but only if you’re in Japan, unfortunately.
