Mine too, there was nothing on the ships, the body of the man was further away on the rocks, even IKAROS did not point to him, found him by the vultures. I think the game chooses a random place nearby.
Helpful tip: use Ikaros to look for vultures nearby. Found mine being picked on by one

Nothing there for me either. I get a message saying a cultist clue is nearby, but there’s nothing on the ship.
Wrong ship
There’s two that look very similar scope with ikaros, its the one closer to the shore..
Mine was on the rocks near by.
