Assassin's Creed Syndicate Gameplay Walkthrough Video
Ubisoft have uploaded a new trailer for Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate to Youtube. They’ve dubbed it a “gameplay walkthrough video”, and it shows an entire mission from the upcoming game, from the intro cinematic, to the bloody end.
The footage starts with a cinematic showing Jacob, Evie and an ally of theirs in a pub, plotting to take over London.
A child messenger runs in and tells Jacob where he can find Bloody Nora, the leader of the Blighters (a rival gang). He then runs out and the mission proper begins.
The whole video is narrated by one of the developers. As he drives a carriage to his destination, he explains the map will be divided into seven areas. After he’s arrived, he uses the grappling hook to climb onto the rooftops, using his Eagle Vision to scout out the neighborhood.
He then shows different ways to silently dispatch enemies, like dropping onto them from a zipline, sneaking up from behind and using throwing knives. After he has saved a couple of compatriots from the Blighters, he goes on to find and beat their commander.
The whole thing turns out to be a trap which fails miserably, and Bloody Nora races away on a carriage. After a brief chase, Jacob drives into a Blighter ambush, and a large scale fight ensues. The “good guys” win, of course, and he and Evie take control of the rival gang.
Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate is going to be released on October 23rd, on Playstation 4 and Xbox One. The PC version doesn’t have an official release date yet.
