One of the very first quests in Avatar Frontiers of Pandora is about learning the importance of gathering ingredients, making food and cooking. These are some of the core gameplay mechanics in the game. And you will find yourself doing them quite a lot during your playthrough. Hence, you will want to get to grips with these mechanics very early in the game, as you will need it. When you reach The High Loom, you’ll meet Sa’noop. He’ll offer you a nice story over an even better meal. However, you will be the one preparing said meal. For the purpose of this meal, you will need to find pristine shell fruit and pristine crimson mushrooms. Read on as we explain how to get both.
Where to Find a Superior Shell Fruit in Avatar Frontiers
When it comes to shell fruit, you will usually find them on massive trees. If you want to find both in one go, Sa’nop will explain to you where exactly you need to go. He advises you first to go towards the stone arcs in the distance and reach the swamps there, and then head towards the forest, where you can grab some shell fruits near the waterfall. However, keep in mind that it took us a long time to find a superior version of it.
The area where you will find a superior Shell Fruit is called Gossamer Lakes, in the Thorny Wilds biome. If you don’t know where to go, check out our map below. Keep in mind that this area is polluted by some industrial facilities. Hence, a very small part of the biome actually has a thriving forest where you will be able to find what you need. You can check out our images below for the exact location. As we’ve mentioned, these shell fruits grow in trees. Thus, you will need to climb in order to reach it.
Where to Find a Superior Crimson Mushroom in Avatar Frontiers
Crimson Mushrooms can be gathered from large roots in the swamp areas of the world. They are much easier to find, and we’re sure you will not have any issues with them. Head to the swampy area, use your Na’vi vision to check the roots there, and you will spot an abundance of them. However, keep in mind that grabbing them in pristine quality and undamaged is essential. Hence, learn how to use the gathering controls carefully.
