How to Reach Ancient Shar Temple in Baldur’s Gate 3

To reach the ancient temple of Shar in Baldur’s Gate 3 or BG3, you actually have to go slightly to the north of the House of Healing in the town of Reithwin. There, at the coordinates X: -182, Y: 107, you’ll spot a crack in the wall, which is an entrance to the mausoleum. Raphael is going to be standing there, and he’s ready to give you the quest which will eventually lead you straight to the temple of Shar. So, if you want to complete Shadowheart’s The Chosen of Shar quest, that’s where you need to go. Now, I don’t know when you can get to the mausoleum entrance at the earliest, but I’d recommend not rushing, because that area is… not easy.

And there you go, that’s how you get into and reach the ancient temple of Shar in BG3 or Baldur’s Gate 3. I know a lot of you tried to go inside in Act 1, but no matter what you do, you can’t pull it off. I mean, maybe you can, but we sure couldn’t figure it out. And even if you could, I would not recommend it. The creepy-crawlies in there will mop the floor with you. Best to wait for Act 2, level up in the meantime, and do everything the “proper” way. That’s basically all there is to it.
