How to Solve Three Plaque Puzzle in Baldur’s Gate 3 – BG3

The exact solution for the BG3 Three Plaque Shadow Cursed Village plaque puzzle is to press the plaques in this order: north, then west, then east. This will make the south plaque pop out, as our reader “A” pointed out. You can handle it from there. Original text follows.

The solution to the Three Plaques puzzle in Baldur’s Gate 3 or BG3 is definitely tricky, because it seems like you need to solve the inscriptions on each plaque. One of the plaques reads “F – LOSS – PAINALLSL – RISE,” the second “OUR – LMISTRWHEN – NITHORM -,” and the third “ADY – OESS – OFGHT – FSHAL.” It seems like gibberish, but maybe if you move the chunks around, they will form a message. Well, maybe they do, but I sure wouldn’t know. The point is, the text doesn’t matter. All you need to do is press the plaques in the correct order. I recommend placing one party member in front of each plaque to save time on going around the statue. Then just press the plaques in varying order until you get it right.

And that’s basically how you solve the Baldur’s Gate 3 Three Plaque puzzle, the solution for the BG3 riddle is to hit the plaques in the right order. I’m not sure what the correct order is, because I just hit them in a different order until it worked. If you know what the exact correct sequence is, let us all know in the comments and I’ll be sure to update the guide. But, long story short, it seems that the order in which you press the plaques matters more than the inscriptions.
