How to Solve What Can Silence the Nightsong Silent Library Puzzle in Baldur’s Gate 3

To solve the What Can Silence the Nightsong Silent Library puzzle in BG3 or Baldur’s Gate 3, we first need to figure out where it is. You will find it in the lower left area of the Gauntlet of Shar. Go through the glowing door to enter the Library. Surprise, the whole place has a Silence spell on it, meaning that any spells that have verbal components are useless. The Library is full of traps and has several hostiles inside. You want your rogue to disarm a few traps is possible before getting into battle. You’ll have to be tactical about the fight as well, all the while keeping in mind that any ability that requires you to speak won’t work. Good luck.

The next step to solve the What can Silence The Nightsong Baldur’s Gate 3 or BG3 Silent Library puzzle, once the area is cleared out, is to focus on the bookcases. Well, do consider disarming the rest of the traps, too. The bookshelves also have traps, so let your rogue deal with them. Your main objective is to interact with the northeastern bookcase, which holds a book called “Teachings of Loss: The Nightsinger.” Pick that up and open the large gate using a lockpick (or however else you deal with locked doors). Inside that room, you’ll find a plinth that asks the question that has been plaguing us: “What can silence the Nightsong?” It’s the book you just collected. Place it onto the plinth to complete the puzzle. We’re not going to say what you’ll find prize-wise.
