MW3 Attachments Not Unlocking Bug Fix

Like every CoD game, MW3 is all about the guns. Featuring a wide arsenal of weapons that you can further customize for maximum efficiency, there are many attachments that you can use to tinker around with your weapons to give them added effects such as an increased ammo mag, more damage, better range, and so on. To use these, you are first going to need to unlock them. But there is a problem with this. Namely, that, for many players, the attachments are not unlocking when they’re supposed to. How to Fix MW3 Attachments Not Unlocking Bug

The cause of this problem comes down to the UI. More specifically, the fact that the UI here is displaying incorrect text. This happens for several Attachments in MW3. Instead of, for example, a particular Attachment being unlocked at Level 16, it will instead unlock at Level 24-25. So the solution here is very simple – just play the game until you reach that Level for that weapon. At which point, you will then be able to unlock and use these Attachments. It would be even better if the fix was something that you could do more easily and with immediate effect, but that’s just the way it is in MW3 right now.
