Infiltrator mission in Modern Warfare 3 Zombies asks you to retrieve Terminus Outcomes records from the stronghold safe as its last step. Terminus Outcomes is the mysterious military formation operating in Urzikstan. They are the only non-zombie enemies you’ll encounter. As part of the overarching story in ACT I of MW3 Operation Deadbolt you get to explore their motivations and methods of operation. MWZ Infiltrator mission wants you to get a stronghold key. You then need to clear it out. Lastly you must get their records from the safe. I did all that and the mission didn’t register the last step Here’s a quick explanation of what you need to do to finish it.

How to Retrieve Terminus Outcomes Records From the Stronghold Safe in Modern Warfare 3 Zombies?

For anyone that played DMZ in MW2 this should be a straightforward process. Buy a Stronghold key from a buy station for 2000 aether. It can also drop from a loot cache or reward portal. You, then, want to find a stronghold on the map. It has its own icon. Don’t go into the infested one. This is not where the human enemies are. Once you unlock it fight the mercenaries inside. Watch out for the guy with the shield. Clear the stronghold of all enemies and then you’ll have two thirds of the Infiltrator mission done.

To retrieve Terminus Outcomes records from the stronghold safe you need to start opening it. This will attract more mercenaries. Stay close to the safe. Once all that is done and the safe opens you’ll be able to get the Legacy Fortress Key and two random items from the safe. However, the last step will not be complete. This is where I got stuck.

To complete the “retrieve Terminus Outcomes records from the stronghold safe” you need to pick up the item that drops next to the safe. It’s called a Cyphered Tablet. This item drops for this mission and all consequent missions. It’s easy to miss because it’s on the floor next to the safe for no apparent reason. Why they didn’t call it Terminus Outcomes records is beyond me. Still, picking it up completed the mission for me.
