Follow the treasure map found in Tomato Town is one of the new challenges in Fortnite BR. It’s the first week of Season 4, so everyone’s pretty excited to jump in an start completing the new tasks. This one requires you to find a map in Tomato Town, then follow the clues it gives you in order to discover the location of a battle star. The map is stuck to a wall in Tomato Town, but luckily, you don’t actually need to visit it. The game doesn’t track whether you’ve seen the map with your own two eyes, which means you can go for the star immediately. It’ll be our dirty little secret. If you really want to, though, you’ll find it behind the dumpster on the northern edge of the city.
The star, on the other hand, is at Loot Lake. If you open up the map and zoom in on the eastern part of the lake, you’ll see an islet that wasn’t there before. It’s a piece of the comet that hit the map with patch v4.0, that one that flattened Dusty Depot. If you go to the islet and look south, you’ll see a capsized rowboat nearby. When you approach the boat, the star will appear.
Since the comet changed a bunch of stuff on the map, and the new season has just started, we suggest you give this challenge a wide berth for a few days. Everyone and their grandma is going to try to complete the new challenges for a couple of days. On the other hand, if you don’t care whether you live or die, you can just land directly on the boat. You’ll be a sitting duck, surrounded by all that water, with no gear in sight, but at least you’ll get your star.
