Genshin Impact Summertime Odyssey Event Release Date and Time

The release date and time of the Genshin Impact Summertime Odyssey event is Friday, July 15th, 2022 at 10 AM, according to the official announcement. Unfortunately, the text doesn’t really make it clear whether it’s 10 AM local server time, or the usual 10 AM (UTC+8). Either way, you’re gonna have to wait until Friday. Also, in order to unlock access to the Golden Apple Archipelago once more, you’ll have to meet a few requirements. Namely, you need to be Adventure Rank 32 or above, complete the Archon Quest “Chapter II: Prologue – Autumn Winds, Scarlet Leaves,” and finish Mona’s Story Quest “Astrolabos Chapter: Act I – Beyond This World’s Stars.” If you haven’t completed Mona’s quest, you should be able to enter the event via the Quick Start option in the event page.

And, yeah, that’s when the Genshin Impact Summertime Odyssey event release date and time is. I know that there is a number of you that have tried getting into the Archipelago ahead of time, assuming that it would launch at the same time as the Summer Fantasia update 2.8. Unfortunately, that is simply not the case. While the newest version of Genshin is indeed starting today, on July 13th, you’ll have to wait a bit longer to go on your summer adventures. Once the event does kick off, you’ll be able to participate in all sorts of activities and earn various rewards, such as Primogems, Hero’s Wit, Mystic Enhancement Ore, Iridescent Flotsam, and much more. In fact, the Iridescent Flotsam is actually a currency that you can exchange for further rewards from the event shop.
