Is Franklin Clinton Going to Be in GTA 6?

At the time of writing this article, it has not been confirmed whether or not Franklin Clinton will be in GTA 6. Of course, it hasn’t been denied, either. Voiced by actor and rapper Shawn Fonteno, who – when asked whether or not he would reprise his role as Franklin in GTA6 – had this to say: “I am officially making this announcement, Franklin Clinton is going to not be in GTA 6.” Of course, this doesn’t have to mean anything, as it very well could be deliberate marketing.

As such, it is very much possible that Rockstar Games is keeping Franklin’s involvement in GTA 6 a secret, or that he may only appear in a minor role. In either case, it’s unlikely that he’s going to be a playable character. Alternatively, he may not appear in the game at all. Though, as Franklin Clinton is the only main character in GTA 5 that always lives, and since he has appeared in GTA: Online in a prominent role, odds are good that he may pop back up again in GTA 6 as well. Only time will tell.

A young ganbanger that wants to make a better life for himself, he is intelligent and resourceful, while also being impulsive and reckless.
