How to Get Whisper of Atonement in Diablo 3

The Whisper of Atonement legendary gem is one of many rewards you’ll get for successfully completing an Echoing Nightmare run. This means being overwhelmed but not dying. The WoA is exclusive to this mode, and you won’t be able to get it in any other way. You are guaranteed to get a Whisper of Atonement no matter which tier you achieve. The level of WoE is corresponding to the Tier of Echoing Nightmare you’ve achieved. But the highest level of Whisper of Atonement is 125. Thus, ideally, you want to get to level 125 each run. Although, you will get maximum rewards at Tier 150.

If your goal is to only get a Level 125 Whisper of Atonement, the most optimal way is to finish around Tier 125. But, for maximum rewards keep going until Tier 150. Furthermore, we should note that the maximum level of a WoA gem is 150. You can level it up in a regular way through Greater Rifts. How to Use Whisper of Atonement in Diablo 3

You can use WoA legendary gems exclusively for augmenting Ancient Legendary items. You can not put them in regular sockets. To augment an Ancient Legendary item, you’ll need to use the final recipe in Kanai’s Cube, which is called Caldesann’s Despair. Asides from a legendary gem, you’ll also need Flawless Royals gems. Here’s which ones you should use depending on which stats you wish to augment.

• Amethysts Flawless Royal for Vitality.
• Emeralds Flawless Royal for Dexterity.
• Rubys Flawless Royal for Strength.
• Topazes Flawless Royal for Intelligence.
